I'm sure that I will fail miserably at describing my question. Hopefully someone will understand what I'm attempting to ask.
I was adjusting Brace Height this evening and went a little higher than I normally set it. I noticed that there felt like a "tight spot" at full draw.. I lowered the Brace Height and it went away???
I liked the feel of the " tight spot at the end of the draw" and shot very well.
Hope someone can explain what is happening.. Thanks
Chris

The only thing I can think of is that your draw length ends right before the bow starts to stack. Then when you raised the BH, which shortens the string and bends the bow limbs a fraction more, you reach the point where you feel the stacking.

Exactly what MP said. And there's nothing wrong with that. I know a lot of folks that like that feeling, It lets them know they are at full draw.
Essentially the same as hitting the wall in the draw of a compound.

I have heard compound shooters talk about shooting "against the wall".. I guess I never knew a recurve had such a thing.. I have short recurves that I don't shoot because they feel like they're stacking rather severe..guess I'll have to get them out and experiment a little..
I do appreciate the response's. I thought maybe I was imagining the whole thing. Guess an old dog can learn a new trick.

mpdh hit the nail on the head.
By the way - I too like a bow that stacks just a bit right at the end of my draw. It's a great draw check, and has always helped with my consistency.

I'd think that the Perfect Bow would be buttery-smooth throughout your draw and then stack like crazy as soon as you passed your exact anchor - that way you'd never over-draw it because you wouldn't be capable of doing so.
But I don't think I will ever come to own such a bow, seeing as my DL is in the 26.5"-27.5" range....

I think most all will have a "wall". It just depends on the draw length where you hit it. I had a Martin Hunter that hit right at 28 and I draw 29-29.5" It was uncomfortable to me so I sold it to a buddy and he has killed several deer with it. Go figure.

Yea, Mpdh kind of nailed it, but the real answer is your bow's too short.

maybe your bows not stacking, maybe your strings not stretching as much at full draw? the string is stacking?
