I had two Bear takedowns: B riser and #1 limbs (60"AMO) and A riser and #3 limbs (60"AMO) Both times i had very unpleasant limb noise where limbs are attached in the riser. I tried bow wax on the joints but without any success. My draw is 29 1/2, maybe bows were stocking on me? Thinking of getting B riser and #3 limbs (64"AMO) will this solve the noise problem? Thanks.

You should have no noises in the bow, no matter what draw length you have. Jeff Kavanaugh has a 29-1/2 draw and shoots an A handle 56" bow just fine. Gotta be a reason, therefor a fix.

I solved all my noises with a small piece very thin foam. The kind used by movers to individual wrap dishes. I kept a few sheets from when we last moved. If I change limbs I put in new pieces. It an'it Trad but it works for me.

I put some wax on the alignment pin and it worked for a little while until the wax wore off. Then i tried a thick piece of paper over the pin and pushed the limb down on it and it solved it, basically a paper coating over the pin. A piece of felt or material will work too.

U can put mole skin around each limb where it forks going into the riser -- it stoped both of mine

I guess I'm lucky. A mag riser with new #3 limbs makes a 60 inch bow, and a all burbinga B riser with new #3 limbs making a 64 inch bow. Not a sound out of either bow.

My A and B were as quiet as a church mouse, until I put bear 4 arrows on them all hell broke loose. I don't have upper spring arms, it was a challenge. Started with double sided thin foam tape under screw that helped a lot and it don't move. Still made some noise. Next changed grippers that was the ticket, bh's stay where their are suppose to be. Quiver vibes but no noise

Sometimes there some play in the Bear TD limb fit. That will often cause the limbs to make noise, particularly on the first shot after stringing as the limbs find their home on the riser. Like Swampangel, I put mole skin on the limb bases. That usually does it. You want a snug, but not tight fit.

A little bit of Velcro took the "creak" out of mine!

NoT all limbs and risers are the same. I've used bow wax to solve issues before but I've also used moleskin to fix issues. Or something as simple as throwing some felt between the latch and the limb to snug it up. Play with what works for your setup
