Assuming no intention of hunting, are there negatives/disadvantages for rookies to shoot 32" shafts...assuming excellent flight?

The longer arrow overcomes paradox slower, so it will create more drag and more of a parabolic trajectory.

I can't think of any drawbacks if spine is proper. On the plus side, could shorten gaps, also allow lighter point weight for an overall shaft weight in line with rookie draw weight.

The only disadvantage i can think of John is that for the rookies it "closes the gap", pun intended on the pros that use this set up for that very reason. Bet we could sell a boatload of arrow stretchers these days...
