Good morning!

Thanks the reminder CD, I need to get my garlic out of the ground today if the rain holds off.

I shot one for myself and one for Ron at 15 yards this morning. Rons is center and mine is a little higher and left. I hate it when somebody outshoots me with my own bow.

Thanks CD!

Thank you 9/10. I'd like to think I have a green thumb, but It's more like a lucky thumb, lol.

don't have green thumb, but I have thumb-ring! so shot my turkish-style all fiberglass 45#@28", off-side.

first 4 shots of the day, sprayed them all-over the place from 15yds.

took 40 more shots to have it become generously large pie plate group. going to need lots of time with this one. very different dynamic, but part of the fun! -ted

I had to twist up a new string this morning for my kodiak. I didn't know what to expect. Shot 6 arrows from 15. Not bad for me. It was my first time twisting a 3 bundle string. Have a great weekend everyone. Jim

I won't be shooting for a while because the swamp has entered into our yard, the rains have not let up for three weeks.

Maybe I will do a new FS from a boat....Ha!Ha! Of course the problem with that is we live in the lightning capitol of the world and you don't want to be outside when these thunder boomers roll in. We have lost three trees in the last four days due to strikes. Several people have been killed also, but you don't hear that in the national news.

You all be safe now ya hear!!

From: grizz
Date: 12-Aug-17

Stay insulated Ron.

Sorry to hear it Ron, I hope the rain lets up soon. Stay safe and as long as my shoulders hold up, I'll let one fly for both of us.

Zonic, that's great that your wife and son are into archery too, I love to see it. Don't make her mad if she can shoot like that, lol.

I took the 2 shot today from 20 yards. Drew back halfway on the first for a count of 5 and then the quick follow up. The higher arrow was #1. Shooting my "A" takedown again and some autumn orange 2016's. Good shooting everyone. Zonic, good to see the family enjoying them selves, and congrats on the bow by Nemah. I hope that you all have a nice evening. Lance.

Nice shootin' guys, I just went out and shot a bunch, just found a place to shoot last week. 1st group emptied the quiver from different distances. Fun in the mountains! Y'all take care and keep up the good shootin'! And thanks CD for keeping the 1st shot alive and kickin'! Wyatt

Good morning!

Quartering away at 20 yards this morning. The shot on the right is Rons and the left one is mine. Missed the mark, but it looks like we both got into the vitals, lol.

Thanks for the call CD.

20yrds with 50lb Schafer - cedar shafts (built them Fri night) with snuffer 125gr broadheads. 1st shot a bit north of 10ring but manaded to drill it on second shot.

1st entry on First Shot for Mingo. Oly, I promise not to shoot up our Ram with the snuffers but just couldn't resist this morning! Good hunting, Mingo

same 15yds as yesterday. first shot was the one that is in the back stop. everything else kinda followed around the same area. missed completely, but at least, this one is in a group.

still consistently inconsistent.... but i'm starting to feel something with this setup.

hope everyone have a good Sunday! -ted

After church on a very comfortable (75*) and sunny afternoon. From my backyard ladder stand @ 12-14 yds I emptied my quiver on Yogi . #1 was one of the top 2

Hope everyone has had a great weekend

Yep nice day!!! Thought I'd have some more fun with my Axiom limbs. This time it's shorts on my 19" ILF giving me a 60" I believe. 31#@28" shooting 600's 15yrds quartering. IMHO I think a 60" recurve is about the best all around length you can have. Long enough for 3D but short enough to be very manageable in the woods.

Hope y'all have a blessed Sunday. Got a big ole V-twin calling my name! LOL

Gone for the weekend with out bow. I just got this in before dark. Sitting in my ground blind stool with Ugly Styk. At 15 yards. A little low. ~Wojo

Thought I'd take a few shots at 17 yrds. FS is in the center second shot is in the FS and the third shot half inch right. Guess I better make that arrow order. Y'all have a great Sunday evening. Feeling pretty good now myself.

great shot grizz!

From: grizz
Date: 13-Aug-17

Thanks Ted. I was pleased. Did that a few times in my compound days but that's my first recurve Robin. Especially feels good when your first shot was good as opposed to back to back stinkers.

Nice! My form is not good enough to get a Robbin hood. ~Wojo

First shots after dinner tonight... nothing fancy 3 shots at paper plate at 12 yds, not the greatest group but at least they were in the plate, 64" Silvertip, 57@28, cedar arrows with Snuffer broadheads

From: throwback
Date: 13-Aug-17

grizz, don't you know that it costs money when you do that and it should be avoided if possible? lol. Nice shot.

Nice shooting everybody! Thanks again CD.

Throwback, I can't afford much of it. But I seriously doubt it'll become a habit. ;^)

Looking good guys. I tried a FS but they were all over and I just couldn't bear to take a pic of that mess. After the 4th round they were dialed in again and I got this pic. Guess I need to start shooting some more.

Strings, love that bow.

Nice group, Strings and I have to agree with grizz, that's a nice bow.
