Today's shot will be the 'Long Bomb'. Shoot several shots from as far as you can. Note your First Shot if possible. Does the 2nd and 3rd shot get better?

God Bless,

CD

Sorry CD, I had to shoot early today. I'm mounting a bear today. Lots of sewing this morning. I shot 18 yds quartering away.

thank you CD for making the call. did long shot that I tried before. 42 yds from top of the roof (equivalent to 2nd floor).

not as good a vertical line as last time, but I got the target, at the 4th shot.

Thank you CD for making the call, hope everyone have a good day today! -ted

ok... so writing on photo didn't work.

the top saids" 42 yds from top of the roof"

the next line. " aimed around here" referring to center line on the top image.

the numbers on the bottom image are:

1 first shot: bottom arrow 2 second shot : top arrow 3 third shot : second from bottom 4 last shot : higher on the target.

Took one shot at 40 yards. Got lucky , didn't want to blow it by taking any more. They probably wouldn't have been as good. Lol. Thanks for the call ! Shooting my Omega Imperial and using Easton Axis Traditional arrows.

I classify this under the blind hog rule. LOL 35 yards (long for me) I quit while I was ahead. 1970 Bear Grizzly 50#

Thanks for the call CD. 40 yards and a smattering of arrows. I tried sig9's triangulation method. 1st arrow in the hoof area, 2nd was in the neck and #3 was just as bad. I need to practice more distance shots like this. I hope you all have a nice day. And Frank, dropping your bow arm is a well known "Lancism" out here. Lance.

Where is Sig9 ? Have not seen him on here in a bit . He doing well I hope !

3 shots at 45 yards. The first shot is to the right, the second I got some really squirrely flight on and missed the target completely and the third is left.

When I found my second arrow and pulled it out of the ground, I noticed it didn't have a point on it. I grabbed it by mistake and shot it without realizing it, lol.

Jim, that looks like a lot of sewing. I'd love to see it when It's finished.

Nice shooting everybody and thanks for the call CD.

Now I forgot the picture! It won't be much longer and somebody will have to take me by the hand and walk me out to shoot, then bring me back in, lol.

Well here it is Throwback. A few weeks to dry, epoxy and paint work and finish the rock. Yes, that's the beginning of a rock he's walking down. Then call the client. Jim

Beautiful work Jim! The face looks nicer without the paint than the shoulder mount I had done. Nice job all the way around.

Went to the NF today, to play bows and took a camp bag with me. Paced off 75 paces and took 3 shots. Bag is in the middle of pic

FS hit 3ft in front of the bag and is laying on the ground in front of the bag, second fell short and third just righteous of the bag. 45# Samick Sage 2poc and a 2213. I'm happy, didn't expect to leave with all three arrows.

From: grizz

Auto correct sucks, right not righteous.

Thanks for the call, CD. Getting dark and raining when I got home but I didnt want to miss another day, so I grabbed the Cascade 55# Whitetail Hawk and plotted a different window through the drooping limbs and leaves, over the daughters car, from 55 yards.

First shot with GT Trads was best, next two with XX78 Superslams, 2413, a bit stiffer and lighter, hung together high and left.
