1972 Browning this year, Microflite #8 arrows with MA-3 heads I got from Jon Stewart a couple years ago. I also have some spruce shafts set up for this bow with Bear Razorheads on them.

I do most of my deer hunting from a stand so this year it will be my jk traditions Kanati , next year it will be my Big Jim Thunderchild (Build next Summer) . previously it was a Chek-Mate Hunter Recurve until the company fell apart.

My "meat-getter" is a Samick Red Stag T/D. After meat is in the freezer, I'll be carrying a Martin X200.

60" Centaur Chimera---50#@28. Easton ST EPIC 340 shafts at 30" with 150 grain Magnus Stinger 2 blade up front. EFA Strap on 4 Arrow Cherokee quiver. Never used a bow mounted quiver before (on a Trad bow). Don't REALLY like the way it makes my bow feel, but it shoots fine with it. Will be nice to have 4 arrows within easy reach though! Getting closer........cannot wait! God bless!

Yes Sir, you are correct. I kinda figure a knife made in the USA since 1836, and carried by nearly everyone on the westward migration has more than proven itself for anything Ill ever ask of it. Pretty and pricey are nice but I prefer time proven and affordable.

For deer, a Bear TD and GN, Hill, J.D. Berry, Liberty and ACS longbows. All about 46- 50#. Will be shooting mostly Easton Axis 500s with Woodsman heads, and some woodies.

For elk, a Morrison Shawnee longbow or Bear TD, 52 to 50#, with Easton Axis 400s and Abowyer, Zwickey and STOS broadheads.

Fall is too short to shoot only one bow (or arrow). :>)

Depends on the mood I'm in and where I am hunting that day but , will be using my Bodymanbowyer longbow , my Omega Imperial longbow , and my on order Hoyt Satori Recurve. But for sure first part of season will be starting out with my Bodymanbowyer longbow. Will through the Omega in there somewhere and when I go out of state I will take my takedown Hoyt Satori. All will be using Easton Axis Traditional arrows and Magnus Stinger and G5 Montec broad heads .

Here is my riser, I shoot it with TT Black Max wood limbs. The 'ugliest' bow I own but the only one I grab when I am hunting. It is a BB warf riser with some tape marks - bottom mark is my 20 yard gap and the top two marks are my DIY rangefinder using the same concept as the 'Dead On' or 'Tagged Out' bow mounted rangefinders.

From: H Rhodes

This year I am going to use my Samick Verna longbow, 50lbs @ 28" and 2016 gamegetters tipped with snuffer 160s. Before the season is over, I am sure that I will end up in a home made blind in a blowdown with my '64 Necedah in my lap again. That little shorty has been good to me and I would feel like she was being insulted if I didn't take her hunting at all... The Necedah draws 45lbs and it likes the 600 spine gold tips and they are tipped off with Zwickey Deltas.
