Well after taking a little more than three months off cause of my left shoulder hurting to were I couldn't even draw the bow. I took my buffalo longbow out and the first pull was still a bit tender but after that it felt great to shoot again I probably shot 20 or so shots lastnight and again this morning. Feels great to be able to shoot again.

I'm glad to hear it Bob. Take it slow. I've been putting off surgery on both rotator cuffs and I have an idea of what you're going through. I have to be really careful not to over do it, or I'm out of the game for a while. I'd rather be able to shoot a few arrows at a time, a few times each day than not be able to draw my bow for a week or better at a time.

I need to get them fixed, along with a couple new knees and a couple disks fused in my neck and back, but there's always a hunting season coming up that I don't want to miss out on.

I hope you continue to heal Bob, good luck with it.

I almost forgot to mention that I shot 60# bows for years and dropped down to a 50# bow around 5 years ago and it made a big difference. It's plenty for our whitetails and black bear and to be honest, I shoot it better.

Congratulations, but don't over-do-it. Nothing worse than getting to much to fast and starting over. Trust me..
