I had a root recurve giving to me model B9078. 58 inch 40 at 28. Question are. Needs string ? And bow had a sight on it at one time just sight holes now should I fill with anything before shooting ??

55" flemish twist Dacron, 12 strand is plenty. Twist to a brace around 8" +/- and adjust from there for best shooting. The holes won't hurt anything but if you want to fill them....fill them.

A quick fill material to seal the holes is Shoe Goo.
