I got a new quiver today and it's made really well. It only weighs 0.35 pounds!

How does that quiver affect your bow, or does it at all? I am struggling to find the right quiver for my ,new to me, Centaur Chimera. I have a Thunderhorn BOA strap on that I cannot seem to get the proper fit with. NO matter how tight I make the straps, it still moves around some and vibrates at the shot.

I ordered a Selway Slide-On,6 arrow quiver that fits the bow great, but it seems to effect the "harmonics" of the bow. The bow is smooth and dead in the hand at the shot (normally), but with the slide on quiver on it, it vibrates more and actually made my arrows shoot poorly. It made them appear to be too stiff of spine. Without the quiver on it they fly like darts and bare-shaft tuned perfectly. I have the quiver slid on a good inch above the beginning of the fade outs, like the instructions said. I have a Rancho Safari Cat Quiver (back quiver) that I used to use. I may have to use that again. Not trying to hijack your thread, but I was just pulling my hair out over quivers when I saw this thread. Any ideas would be appreciated. Take care and God bless!

I've learned to tune my bow with the quiver on. I'm Not a fan of slide on quivers at all for the reasons you stated. To add to it, I feel they don't stay put. To answer your question, I don't notice it at all on my bow. It's only 0.35 pounds. The best quivers in my opinion Thunderhorn linx and eagle flight with the rod are the best quivers

56'Kodiak, Thank you for your help. I will look into both of those quivers you mentioned. The slide-looked like a great idea, but I just cannot see shooting my bow with something on it that makes it shoot less efficiently. You are spot on, I could re-tune, but I don't want to settle for the extra vibration (not sure I can get that out). You live and you learn, I guess. This slide-on was a $105 experiment..... Ughhh. Take care and God bless!
