I sit alot to shoot due to ole knees. My 5 y/o likes to sit with me to discuss archery, knives, guns and some of lifes lessons...especially saftey. Saftey is always discussed in our endeavors. My favorite is when he helps me shoot and even retrieves my arrows. Helpful lil fella. The wife snapped this pic.

You are a lucky man to have a son like that. Cherish & appreciate him.

All too soon the years shift from tomorrow to yesterday,...

Getting a five year old to sit like that is a major accomplishment. You done good. As said, they grow up fast. Make the most of moments like these.

As others have said here; "Treasure the moments" they surely are fleeting.!

I started my son fishing and hunting young. Now he is 42 and my hunting and fishing buddy. Enjoy every minute.

Brian, your son will never forget those days. I started my daughter shooting with me 32 years ago. She still does. Jawge

Nice.

Great job passing it on.

Great pic....I have one artificial knee and one hip, but shooting from a seated position is something we all need to practice more. Gone are the days when deer don't look up and if I'm going to get busted it's trying to stand.

My son will turn 32 in October and we still sit with bows or fishing gear and talk.

Better find a way to get those knees feeling a little younger because, God willing, you have a long way to go.

Enjoy.
