Which one do you consider a better buck? What would they weigh field dressed? If they weren't pets, of course :>)

Nice pics. IMO, neither is a 'better' buck, but I like the antlers on the 4x4 better - prettier rack. I found this pic somewhere - must be something about trampolines bucks like - maybe the shade, maybe the smell of elastic?

Hmmm. I wonder if anyone makes a portable trampoline I could set up in my hunting area. I'm sure there are no laws against hunting over one and you could get in and out of your tree stand quickly... - John

What John and Ken said - maybe incorporate a trampoline into one of those extreme hunting TV shows. "Bouncing for Bucks"

More western lawn ornaments/yard pets we saw.. Estes Park. The spike got chased right across the homeowner's driveway and deck by the big 6 in the driveway. The satellite bull got chased too but wasn't as spooked as the spike.

Cool pictures everybody. I've never seen anything like the trampoline pictures. The grandkids have one at their house, but nobody's ever mentioned seeing deer under it. Now you've got me thinking. My girlfriend has a small one that was made to exercise on. I may have to set it up out back and experiment lol. Thanks for the pics!

This guys mom moved onto my place a few years back, found her eating banana peels. She stayed, had two little buck the fist year and a buck and doe the last time. Keep raiding the compost heap.

That's it, I'm hanging bird feeders out in front of all my brush blinds this year. If he doesn't get you fired up, nothing will.

Yea but ALL Whitetail. BIRD seed is the secret. I "can" bowhunt my property & I do at rut time away from the house. My bird feeders are a safety zone for all Deer. I had that guy on the feeder at full draw, 10 yds & let him walk (I do regret as he never showed the next year). Last year his "daddy" came within 65 yds (I was ranging him constantly)of me but never any closer.

ALL Does are safe no matter where they are as I no longer shoot Does (trust me, I've taken my share) They have learned how to push the bird feeders (we have 8)with their nose & dump it on the ground. We love seeing them. We have 2 Does coming around now, 1 with a singe & 1 with twins.

Alaskabowhunter Awesome to have the animals of Alaska in your yard for sure. We had these visitors TODAY right off the deck. 1st time Mama brought then so close. The circle of life has begun in our neck of the woods.
