Been ready, may head there Wednesday. Gotta leave Saturday for my grandsons first birthday party, not sure if I'm happy about that, or sad.

George, only 3 hour? I have to drive over 1000 miles. But no matter how far it is, it is worth the drive. It is a great event.

That's impressive Sipsey. I'm over 1000 miles away as well, but won't be going. Wish I could!

It has snuck up one me this year. I usually start getting things together much earlier because of camping there for a week. I just realized last Wednesday that is was only 2 1/2 weeks before we leave, we go up on Monday. So now I am rushing to get stuff together. This will be my 21st year going, you would think I would have my act together better by now. DANNY

Hoping to get there on Tuesday in the early afternoon. 280 miles from where I live in NJ. But the drive is well worth it. One problem though, the days at Denton Hill seem to go by so fast!

It's unlike any other shoot you've been to more than likely. Up to 10,000 total visitors on the long weekend, including shooters and onlookers. You would be surprised how many come just to catch the vendors and the swap meets. This all in a county of around 17000 people in 1082 square miles of land.

From: marc of PAW
Date: 15-Jul-17

All of the Penn Archery Works Bowyers Guild will be there. If you see a Tan colored truck across from the main tent with PAW-BOWS on the plate, stop in, stay awhile, and talk archery.

Our annual pilgrimage includes a little shooting, vendor browsing, lunch at Fezz's, sightseeing, dinner, maybe a movie or mini golf. Then back to the nicest B & B I've ever stayed at.

We don't do the Woodstock thing anymore.

Is the lift going to be running? And can I bring my dog?

From: buster v davenport
Date: 20-Jul-17

The lift will be running as good as it was last year.

You can bring your dog as long as your designated handler is young and good looking and wearing a low cut top and high cut shorts. bvd

Chomping at the bit. I, my wife, daughter, son inlaw, 3 granddaughters, sister, brother inlaw, nephew, my buddy and his wife, are all looking forward to it.

Around 3.5 hr drive for us.

Just finished setting up camp for the Penn Archery Works Bowyers Guild group, 13+ in all. The big venders tents were being set up today also. No porta-potties but money is being collected for camping. Strings are stretched every where but I was informed that those were not camp sites so my question was why stretch the strings if they didn't indicate a camp site. I guess after 23 years of wondering I don't need to know. Only 45 minutes away for me so I'll be back and forth until Monday. I'm ready.

Buster that was one of the longest rides trying to the top last year I ever had at Denton on that ski lift. Started on Thursday and never did make it to the top. Will have to see if I can finish the ride and get to the top this year. I had a snail start at the same time as me, he had made it 40yds farther than I did, before I had to come home on Sunday. :') DANNY
