My next project bow is a Dale Dye bow built in 1999. It is cocobolo and ebony with bloodwood stripes. The finish on the bow seems to be rather weak as it has rubbed off in places and flaked off in others. I don't want to sand the bow and start fresh as there is no way to duplicate the penmanship on the bow.

Does anyone know what Dale was using for finish back then?
