well most of you know that I work nights. After I got home I kicked back on the interweb and I began my quest to figure out the chaos of learning how to tune my arrows and bow to myself. I was on YouTube and discovered this Very informative video of Ken Beck ( of Black Widow bows) and he answered a lot the questions I had. I thought that this Video could help others as well. Enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSJ6-HjPMTM.

Thats a good one. The video have been there for some years. It helps to catch all the little details he speak about, nock a little higher than perfect even for no arrow bending release and so on.

You should download the free Easton arrow tuning and maintenance guide PDF. Another book that I just finished reading that expands on tuning in a very systematic way is modern recurve tuning by Richard A. Cockrell.

Ken Beck explains it just as well in person. I had that that pleasure when I took one of the BW clinics some years back. Of course at that time we were told how to use the Gold Tip method of adding weight to the front of shaft. I still have my VHS of him tuning aluminum shafts as well. Believe it or not that day the tape was made you could see the sheet they had across the bale blowing in the wind. His bare shafts did not waver.
