Archer's choice for the weekend. Shoot any shot you like for your daily First Shot and share the details.

God Bless,

Did a walk back 10 to 22 yrds in three step increments. First was closest to centered but all were in the circle. That calls for a happy dance! Thanks CD and y'all have a great weekend.

20 yds. The deer kept moving and the vitals wouldn't hold still either!! Saw some rattlesnakes today with some buddies of mine about 20 miles from my place. First ones I've ever seen.

1st shot is an elevated, dual obstacle, sitting shot. Shot from the 2nd platform on the stand at the archery club. And sitting on the railing. Maybe 18 to 20 ft high. Shot between tree trunks with branches and I put obstacles at the target. Used 51# Predator w/ Herritage 250s. 1st pic shows the shot. 2nd pic shows where I hit. A little right,so I shot a 2nd shot. Same area.

today I tried the 38yd again. (cause last time, my arrow just went waaay high over the target). result is great for me at this distance. I'll probably do this more often.

shooting Scherrinsky 48. really finding out how well balanced this bow is. it doesn't dance around in the hand, so if it's twisting even a little, at the end of the shot, then it is truly my fault for introducing the torque. one of the better teacher.

hope everyone have a good SUNDAY! -ted

Forgot to post my first shot from Saturday. Took 4 shots. 10,20,30,40 yards walk back. Using my Martin L-100 longbow my kids gave me around 4 years ago for Father's Day. Have not shot this bow in almost a year. Not a bad shooting little bow.
