I haven't shot mine much lately so I'm not sure, but off the top of my head I think mine is somewhere between 7 3/4 and 8". I'll have to check it when I get home.

You will need to work on that since the forward style of the limbs call for a brace that is usually lower than a bow where the riser is even or ahead of the limbs.

Well now I am thinking of the Canebreak, not the Patriot, so I'm not familiar with the profile of the Patriot.

I checked mine and it is at 6 3/4, but I think the string may have stretched some. I seem to remember they use a lower BH as George alluded to, but I don't remember it being that low. You might start around 7" and twist the string gradually until you find the sweet spot.
Sorry I don't have a more definitive answer for you, maybe some others will chime in.

Some folks, including Owen Jeffery, believe if you quit trying to wring all the speed you might get out of them, and raise the brace height a bit, they shoot better.
