Shooting a RH 62" Black Widow PSA X @ 47#. My draw length is 27" and I shoot 3 under. I prefer to shoot a full length arrow. (30-32") I have some GT trad.500's. The GT's are new for me. Never tuned with them. I have several different weight points and some aluminum inserts as well as some 100gr brass ones. What do you guys think would be a good starting point on weight up front. Thanks

Throw the brass away. Put on any tip, on a fletched shaft and same on a bare. Shoot them at a spot. If the bare is left of the fletched go to a higher point weight. If it's right you need less point weight.

Yup those Widows are cut so far past center you can shoot most any spine. A 30" .500 with 175 grains up front would be some good medicine. That may be stiff for a lot of 45-47# bows but as I said the widow will shoot them fine. Shawn

Cut the 500 to 29,5" install allu insert and start with a 100 grs point. @ 30" it's not a lot to play with on point wt.
