I have a Montana Falcon recurve Dick built for me. Beautiful workmanship and shot real nice when I could handle the weight. You'll be happy I'm sure and the wait time doesn't seem too bad. Of course I'm not the one waiting!

First rate bowyer..first class guy..you won't be disappointed. My Vision Falcon is the last custom I own of many. Best grip I ever saw on a bow and a real shooter.

From: lowrider

Great bows. I don't think you will be disappointed at all.

From: The Whittler

He's been building bows for a very long time so he must know how to do it.

I owned two Dick Robertson Montana Falcons back in the mid- 1990s.They were both not only great shooting bows they were also beautiful to look at. You can't go wrong with Dick Robertson.

From: Nalajr

I've always thought that he made gorgeous bows. His bows are rarely talked about on the forums though. Don't know why.

From the days 20 years ago when I would buy TRAD Bowhunter mags every 2 months to daydream about the day when I would have great bows like those pictured and in the ads.

I don't know if it's just me or what, but I have noticed that the prices of custom recurves has been creeping higher and higher and now a nice recurve is routinely priced at $1,000 and over.

Not criticizing anyone mind you, just pointing out something I have noticed.

I'd love to have one of his recurves.

Larry, you are right. The prices have been going up as is the prices of everything else. Dick is a true artisan and a heck of a guy. In almost 30 years of shooting recurve, he is only the second Boyer that I've ordered a new bow from. His bows have a great reputation and to say that I'm excited over it is an understatement.

You can't do better than a Robertson longbow.

I have owned a Montana Falcon, Vision Falcon, Fatal Styk and currently have a Primal Styk and Wolfer...but regret selling my recurves. Looking at a used Montana Falcon from a guy or a new Tribal/Fatal Styk...always liked the one piece bows. I think his recurves are about perfect with light mass in risers so a joy to carry all day, an almost perfect grip, and smooth limbs.

keep em sharp,

ron herman

Ron, the light mass in the riser is what initially caught my eye. I just think I waited too long, I probably won't get it til after the season.

Sean, hope the Robertson is all you hope for. I shot a vison falcon and loved it. Didn't end up buying it, instead I bought your Tall Tines riser and some T.T. limbs. Best decision I've ever made on a bow. Good Luck with your new Robertson. John

Sean, you could not get one from his in stock stuff. I have not looked lately but normally they have a bunch in stock. I have owned several over the years. All good shooters. Shawn

Shawn, he only had one Tribal Styk in stock and it wasn't my weight.

Thanks John, glad you're liking that Tall Tines

Congrats. You might do as well but certainly no better than a Robertson built bow.

Congratulations! Dick builds one amazing bow. My wife and I have 3 of them. You won't be disappointed.

I had a Buffalo bow back in the 90s and really liked it. Only one I have ever owned but was a well made , good bow.

God bless, Steve

I am a Robertson bow fanatic...I own 6...2 pierce Peregrine recurves, a mystical longbow,a purist longbow, a fusion hybrid and a coyote longbow (short)...cannot go wrong with a Robertson....Tim

I've owned two Robertsons and both were great bows. Sorry to say I can't pull them back now but still have the longbow he made for my son.
