Had a great time last weekend. Predicted rain stayed away with just some light showers. Had to run the A.C. as it got a little warm, and grandson was able to hit the beach! I shot in two recurve classes and the self bow class. Nancy shot in women's recurve. Unlike me, she's usually good for one round! Going to repack the camper tomorrow and head to Winchester Ind. for the Farmland shoot.

Its always held at the Persimmon Hill camping area at Enid Lake near Enid ,Mississippi . Next month we will have another shoot there the 3rd weekend in June. I belive it will be the CATCH-A-DREAM charity shoot. All proceeds go to help a sickly child pursue their hunt and fishing trip of a lifetime.

This is the first one I've missed in a while (oldest g'daughter graduated from HS so busy with that all weekend). I definitely am planning on going to the Catch-A- Dream shoot. Great courses and well worth the drive. Marsha

The wife and me were there Saturday. We had a very good time, the course was good and we both shot descent.

Clyde, thanks for sharing those pictures. I had my camera with me but never took it out of the truck. The shoot was a success despite the crappy forecast we'd had all week. The weather actually ended up being pretty nice. Our next shoot is June 24-25 and that will be our benefit shoot for the Catch A Dream foundation. This is always a really fun shoot for a great organization. I will post the flyer for this shoot on our Facebook page (Southern Traditional Archery Association) and in here as well, if I can get it to load. Kevin.

I knew if I canceled because of the weather the sun would come out, dang. I have done the same on several tournaments and the weather always changed for the better if I didn't show up.
