Muddy Creek Archers will be having the first of their two annual 3D trad shoots May 27, 28 and 29 located at Farmland Conservation Club 1464 N500W Winchester Ind. My wife and I never miss their shoots, and it's a 14 hour round trip for us from S.ILL. 40 target big game course with 2 stakes for a total of 80 shots. 20 target small game course with 2 stakes for a total of 40 shots. Free primitive camping, restrooms and shower, catch and release fishing, and food available in club house. No hills with a great target set up. Hotel in Winchester about 12 mins from the shoot.

For those of you traveling to Farmland and going near Cloverdale, Indiana, you might take a look at stopping by Nancy's Broken Arrow and shoot their course also. It is an open shoot but draws a very heavy traditional crowd. If you enjoy the terrain and course of the Cloverdale Nationals, you will like this place. We live in Noblesville, Indiana and usually shoot both places Memorial Day Weekend.

Danny, Nice catch!! I see that's the dates on their web site, but I'm going to say that's wrong, and should be 26, 27, and 28. They have never had a shoot on Monday.

Steve Walker would be the person to answer that question.

Anyone with a question about the shoot can contact Steve at 765- 969-4638. I know he was turkey hunting in Michigan, so give him time to answer.

Our family had a great time shooting the big game course on Saturday. Weather was great in the afternoon. The mud made it an adventure. We rarely kerp score and didnt this time. Of course, at the end of tbe course, I realized that over the 80 shots i had only a few 5's. Oh well.

We had a great time. We were greeted with a thunderstorm When we arrived Friday night but the weather was great the rest of the weekend. Beautiful club grounds and really nice course. I also fed a lot of mosquitoes on the small game course!

Great time as we have every year. It is sad that out of over 500 club members, that Steve and Roy are the only ones to set up, and take down, all the targets and run the shoot, so a big thanks goes out to them. Repellent helped keep the skeeters at bay, and rubber boots for the mud. Will be back there in August for the 100 target shoot! I should have a picture thread posted later.
