Has anyone shot the bosen double carbon bamboo Ilf longbow limbs ? What length are they ? Was weight rated for 17" riser ? Thanks Brendan

I posted this same question a couple months ago. No bites. Was hoping for some reviews. Hate to be the guinea pig...

Go on Tradtalk there are a lot of ILF shooters.

Well according to their web sight the stock bow has a 17" riser, and the overall bow length is 64". So, that would make the limbs 23.5" each net length. The gross length would depend on how long the limb pad is.

There are a bunch of limbs on the auction site right now.

Someone on TradTalk had a set listed on the Blanket awhile back and really liked them. They're China made and sell mostly on eBay is about all I know.

I'll be sure to give everyone an update when mine show up in about 2 weeks

I have a pair. I really like them for target as I've been posting good scores with them. Smooth draw, nice finish, good speed. The only bad thing I can say is they are super noisy. For the price though I'm not sure they can be beat.

I just received mine yesterday still waiting on strings to try them out but will definitely say the finish is very nice they look as nice as a lot of the higher end ilf limbs I've seen

I put mine on a dryad epic 13 riser they are as quiet as any bow I've shot very quick and smooth worth every penny of the $245 I paid for them

Any more feedback on these limbs they look like shooters

So the limbs are the extra long ones? A 64 inch bow with a 17 inch riser would mean would use limbs that length or am I wrong? Thanks

"So the limbs are the extra long ones? A 64 inch bow with a 17 inch riser would mean would use limbs that length or am I wrong? Thanks "

Correct. A 17 inch bow is 8 inches off the 'standard' 25, so yeah, those are extra-longs.

Sounds interesting if the price is right. Been wanting to try ILF longbow limbs, just for a change of pace.

now that i'm back shooting ILF again I've been looking for a longbow limb to add to my risers and since lancaster no longer sells the trad tech wood glass I've been looking at these new limbs from bosen they look like centaur's unbraced
