Well I been thinking about this for some time. It was a rainy day so this is what I came up with. The one on the right is my old stand by. I wanted something a bit more compact. Also I wanted it to ride higher not hitting my leg as I walk. I extended the length 2in from my pocket quiver and added a pocket. Already tried it out I really like how it rides on your hip. Going to work out just fine.

When the weather gets hot and sticky, I opt for something different than a back quiver. The pencil probably won't see much use, for I rarely keep score.lol

Looks good. Like the old hip pocket quivers of the 50's and 60's but fancier.

Nice quiver I've often though about a simple belt quiver for the summer.

When they going to be up for sale?!?!?!

Right now they take to long to make. Maybe when I get a little more proficient at it. This was my first one of these and I already see a couple things I'd like to tweek. Maybe later.

May I make a suggestion? I have made a couple hip style quivers over the years.i found the belt loop setup inconvenient. You got to take your belt out and do some fussing around depending on where the trouser loops and belt loops are in relation to your pocket or place on your hip. I made that piece longer so it goes over the belt and added one of those big snaps. I just unsnap and push the end under my belt and snap.

Thanks M60 sounds like a good idea. What I usually do is use a separate belt just for the quiver. If using your pants belt I can see what your saying.

Neet still makes them as well, even a Fred Bear model.

These were made to slide into your hip pocket.

Been tweeking my design. Nothing that's real obvious from the pics, but some changes for the better anyway. I decided to stay with the belt loops instead of the snaps( I use a separate belt just for the quiver) IT seems easier than fishing it under my pants belt. I have a couple I may be listing.

Very nice! Is there any way to carry a couple judos along with the field tips? That would be a home run.
