What's yalls opinion on a Tomahawk 30th anniversary compared to a Black Widow long bow? I'm not very familiar with the Tomahawks and Id like some honest opinions.

Compared to what? Each other? Both are excellent bows built by top notch companies. There isn't a dimes difference in the performance between the 2.

Which one do you like best?

I've never shot a Tomahawk. I've been shooting the window for a few years and like it a lot but I'm looking at changing.

I've had both, both are great bows . Having said that , I sold the Tomahawk and now have 3 Black Widow Longbows...

The Widow PL's just shot better for me .

As far as value goes I'm guessing they are pretty similar?

So here's a question, if you like the BW, why do you want to change? I've never gotten that.

The TH probably isn't going to feel like the BW, it may feel better, or not. But that's an individual subjective thing.

The BW I have is way to heavy. It shoots great but it's 63# and I'm looking for a 55 range. I have some ones who interested in trading.

Ahhh, That makes sense.

The grip is the big difference to me. Depending on the grip that you have on your BW. They on't ist the same in your hand, at least not for me. But I have smallish hands.

I have two of each and one is the thirty year anniversary. The anniversary bow is 66"43@29" the plx is exactly the same. The widow is noticeably smother through the draw cycle and is truly an exceptional bow. This one is a td model. The tamahawk has a very positive draw ,feels firmer yet is pulling the same. I think it's a little quicker than the widow.i keep both of them on my frequently shot nor rack. So when I get booted with one I just bounce to the other. So both are great bows.

Bored not booted spell check kills me.

I have had both and I liked the Widow best.

tomahawk grip less beefy bow is less beefy tomahawk maybe a little louder at shot maybe a little quicker .

pl widow has more mass is a little easier to shoot and fast enough i'd find another pl lighter in weight but if you can pick up a tomahawk used to try out then sell if it dosn't work for you good luck

If we are talking about a trade, I would suggest shooting the other bow and then you will be able to decide. I mean you are going to hear a lot of positivesabout both from those who own them. In the end, it is up to how you feel when shooting either. For example, my Tomahawk Diamond Series Thunderstorm is the only bow that I have shot for the last decade or so. After numerous 3d shoots and successful hunting trips, I can only say good things about it. Likewise, another person could say the same about a Widow. Both are good bows. Only you can say whether one or both is right for you. Go shoot it.

Both are excellent bows. I've shot a Tomahawk and owned a BW PL,owned being the operative word. The PL shot great but it's gone now due to the grip. Absolutely hated the grip. But to each his own.
