As a complete newbie I've been studying this forum and every video I can. Yesterday a guy at the range put a bungee cord on my strung bow and we discussed my anchor and just what I was seeing at full draw. Its was a game changer for me

Thank you to all

Hey dakotaduner, Can you give us more detials? You did you see at full draw? What was discussed concerning anchor? What was the "game changer" in your mind? Thanks

with the bungee cord I was pulling back and holding maybe 10 pounds. I nocked the arrow on the bungee cord and we were able to discuss different anchors, as well as gap shooting and point on techniques. Then we went back to shooting the bow normally and I saw how the change in anchors change the impact and shot. I'm new at this so I will take in everything I can.

dakotaduner, many things can work to help visualize the shot process and how it is accomplished. If it's working to make you more accurate and consistent, then that's a good thing.
