I was asking and waiting awhile and finally got to close the deal on a very clean Tall Tines Stickflinger 62" AMO, 52lb at 28" longbow. This is one fast longbow! I've stuck to shooting recurve's cuz the Longbows I have owned previously just weren't able to shoot the longer shots with heavy arrows without a large arc. This bow shoots a 540 gr arrow flat at 30 yds so I will definitely be shooting it along side my recurve Tall Tines. It's a real beauty as well!

That's a dang nice bow. But I'm really confused about your statement pertaining to other bows.

Awesome. they are beautiful, quiet, fast and stable. Tough to beat in my opinion.

To clarify, I've owned ACS, Centaur, BW and now the Tall Tines longbows. When comparing recurves against longbows, the recurves always outperformed the longbows. However, where the biggest performance difference showed up for me was those 30+ yd shots with 10 gr/pnd arrow weight. The longbows required me a higher than the recurve elevation to cast the arrow down range. This Tall Tines however is shooting flat at 30 yds which is really refreshing to me.

Hi Bryce, I never go away! If your never going to sell any of the Tall Tines, what about that 64" Schafer that your always saying you don't shoot very well!! Of course, the Tall Tines are still of intrest as well. Nice to touch base with you again. John
