Put this together as a birthday present for a friend and to get her shooting. I made the arrow from a poplar dowel. She got pretty good at 10 yards. Now that she has the basics, we will move her up to a Samick Sage or Polaris.

PVC bows are fun, functional and a great way to get people into the sport, I have made a few. Want to get back into it at some point and build a press that will shape the entire limb in one shot.

Same here, I need to make a lefty Mongol Horsebow for a smaller kid, about 5'2" tall. need 24" draw, maybe 25# draw weight. I just made a 12# draw horsebow for his little sister, smaller than him. Hers is around 48" or so. I'm using a heat gun with PVC between 2x4s to trap the heat. The kids shoot 10-15 yds or so. Little Junior arrows from the big-box store. 600 spine.
