Anyone have this set up its pretty big and looks sturdy. I have several little choppers various cuts and just picked up one of these and wondering if anyone else has one or if so how they like it.

Glenn, did you buy it new or used? Any pics to post? My custom Lil Chopper just took a dump so interested in other choppers:>)

Its new and the guy wants 50.00. He never used it. I saw it and said ok let me have it. He was taking with us to to Whittingham for the swap Sat. night. I tried to Google it but couldn't come up with one to price check it. I guess I'm stuck now for 50.00. I was wondering if it was any good? Its in my truck right now so I can't get a picture.

Dave is that because you hit the little chopper with mallet and this contraption you push down on using your own pressure maybe. Well now this is disappointing so far? LOL

What size Mike were you looking for? I have a few of them maybe I have one you might need? Going to Whittingham Sat so won't be avail. till Sunday to check the choppers.

Been a few years till I was healthy enough to get to Whittingham and other shoots now. Good to go I hope.LOL

You spring load the one I have and slide the feather in then you hit a button and it chops then you pull it out. You ha e to have the right shims In it or it mangled the feathers. I figured mine out finaly but can chop about 6 to 1 with little chopper. The bohning takes a whole to load the feather etc.

While to load that is. I paid 50$ for mine as well it is worth that but not the 250 they originally sold for.

Thanks Glenn, I have a shield chopper, but 3Rivers built me a custom one with my own design/measurement. Have fun at the shoot!

Also, with the Bohning you only get one feather out of a full length because it requires you to cut out of the middle.
