What arrows do you 32 to 35 lb recurve shooters use?

Carbon express predator 2 800 spine

Depends on your draw length and how close to center the bow is cut.

Bow type? String type? Amount of centershot? Rest type? Then we can talk spines.

Goldtip Entrada.

And arrow length you want and your draw weight. There will be lots of choices too.

Skys the limit. I currently shoot gt600 or cx wolverine 3050.

X2 on the aluminum 1816s. I run mine full length (gapper) with 125s out front and 5 inch parabolics. But I'd also reiterate Bowmania's point about the other variables. I'm a low poundage guy and stock arrows with the same set-up from 1716 to 2016 (500'Gamegetters) and work up and down until I find what shoots best out of a given bow. I try to keep it simple cause I'm a simple guy

X3 1816 it's what I am using.

My Sage with 35# limbs with my 27" draw length likes GT Warrior or Entrada UL 600 spine cut to 29.75" with the standard alum inserts and 175 gr. tips.

1916 xx75 Easton Tributes with 150 grain points I CAN shoot 1816 with 125 grain points, but I wanted a bit longer shaft for my draw length.

If I'm using low stretch string, I would likely be using 29" 1816 with 100 grain tips...maybe 125 depending on centershot. With Dacron, likely use 1716 with 100 grain tips at 29". If you aren't giving us any more information, we can only guess.

For my carbon's I shoot 600's with heavy inserts and they work for me at my short draw elngth. A 700 would be better though, but limited on availability. The plain old everyday ordinary Axis black arrows come in 700's. I'm going to get some this summer so I can use lighter weight up front. Aluminums can be matched up real easy with several options, like the 1716 listed above, but again - all depends on your draw length and type of bow etc.

36# target bow, GT Entradas .600 spine.

From: George D. Stout Compton's Traditional Bowhunters

I'm betting 600 is too stiff in carbon unless you are weighing them down on the end. An 1816 is about .630 and aluminum bends easier than carbon. All else being equal, a 700 carbon is closer. But again, Crow left us and is not giving us the information needed.

Would 1914 Easton X7 be decent arrows to use with a Ben Pearson Lord Mercury 66" 35# target bow?

From: JustSomeDude
Date: 22-Apr-17

I'm not making a spine suggestion because mine is an ILF riser. I do use 600 Entrada with 100grn points. Bareshaft to 30 yards. But that is me on my bow.

I like the Entrada because they aren't SUPER skinny, they aren't as expensive as some options, use standard points/inserts and nocks are very durable and I can get in the 9gpp range

Maybe cyrille. The 1914 is 48lbs.

It depends a lot but if you draw 28"s then maybe an 1816 left a bit long and at least 125. I would think a 29" 1716 with 100 grain point would be about perfect. Carbons I would say an .800 spine with 125-145 grain point or a .700 spine cut to 29 with 175 grain point. Shawn

30-34 woodies, maybe 35-39 depending on how long I cut them and the point weight.
