40 yards and wind blowing straight at us about 25 mph. 5" feathers and 800 spine arrows out of 30# bow don't help. Pick what you want Jeff and Ron. lol. We were aiming at deer. Thanks for call Chad. Any news on back?
Ouch, need some distance practice!! between 45-50 yds. first high over back, second right in there, thought I had it then 3rd arrow I pulled left!!! Have to get out to range when its dry enough, and put in some practice! HF and Goldtips!
Dropped back to 50 yards and let three fly. First two clipped his toenails the third just startled him. Shot with my 66" buffalo 46@29 using cedar arrows. Good shooting everyone and thanks for call
As far as my MRI results from yesterday... I have issues between L5/S1 and L2/L3... Looking at the MRI results, my local doctor thinks the pinched nerve is at L2/L3, but I think from the images that L5/S1 is pushing on my spinal cord more... and that's where the pain has been. But I have an appointment with a neurosurgeon in a couple weeks and I'll see what his opinion is. My previous surgery 3 years ago was on L5/S1.
Shot as called with 51# Predator w/ Herritage 250s with 275 gr up front. Total arrow weight 635 gr. All I could get is 28 yrds in my yard safely. 1st went low,2nd got closer,3rd went right in. Nice day to Shoot! No wind, snow or rain. :-) nice call.
Good evening FS guys and gals. Back surgery sounds pretty serious CD. It's amazing what they can do today. My first from 30yrds went over by a little bit, centered good though. Second low right. JF
Thanks for the well wishes guys! I really appreciate it.
The top of left thigh down through my knee is numb... and has a slight burning sensation at the same time... nothing intolerable though. Other than that I feel ok now. But it is kinda weird for sure to reach down and touch my leg and it to feel like I'm touching someone elses hairy leg! yuk!!! hahaha
I'm taking some meds for inflammation and a muscle relaxant... but I'm not sure that they are doing anything. I passed on the pain killers the doc prescribed...
