I got this bow at a great price last week; even though the listed draw weight of 44# was too light for me, I thought what the heck; maybe I'll send it to Frisky--he's been shooting crappy bows for so long, he deserves a break, and he likes a 56" bow.
Well...come to find out, the seller had mis-read the specs on the limb edge; it's really rated at 49#, and at my 29.5" draw it tips the scales at 56#--tough luck for Frisky; I guess I'll keep it a while!
I'm just curious about the riser and veneer woods-- I know that JD Lund offered many combos. If I had to guess I'd say the back veneer was bocote and the belly and riser were osage...but those are low-confidence guesses. Does anyone care to take a stab at identifying them for me?
