not talking about this buck. okay i lied. who goes for a walk in the week before the rut starts and leaves their bow at home because they are "just gonna check things out on a friday night to make plans for saturdays hunt'?! yep. this idiot right here. 35 yards broadside and feeding as i hid and watched 2 does 150 yds away up wind. turned around and there he was. and nothing i could do about it. waited till he fed into woods and snuck home. never saw him again. he was hit by a car we think. my neighbors uncle shot him first saturday in rifle season for a broken legged doe. he had cast off his horns. found his sheds. 154 dry. i go nowhere unarmed during any season now and i still have nightmares of making the same mistake!!!!!!!!!!
