Not confirmed but most of the ones from last year will be back. The Asbells/Jim Powell/Big Jim/ Bob with Ace is all I have confirmed right now but I am sure most will do what they said and be back. Pappy

Folks, this is one of the best events you'll attend, ANYWHERE! There are two 20 target courses spread out through some of the most beautiful country you'll see. Pappy also has target settings rivaled by none, herd of caribou, packs of wolves, flocks of turkeys....well, you get the idea.

Pappy, I gotta say this.

Now, with that said, some people think that after they pay the entrance fee for the 40 target round for competition, they can keep shooting on the competition course as many times as they want to......folks, that's not supposed to be that way. Pappy has a twenty target fun course set up for as much extra shooting as you want, no extra charge, BUT, after you paid to shoot the regular course.

Targets are extremely expense folks, please don't take advantage of this wonderful group of people putting on an outstanding event for us all to enjoy.

How many shooters shooting traditional recurve or long bow with a release ( no sights) would you have to have to set up a class?

Harold, you could shoot in our fun group. Instinctive, gap, split vision, fixed crawl and stringwalkers. Do not have to be in a class to enjoy the best trad shoot in the south! Join us?

I thought I had heard that too but it's not listed on the flyer above. Maybe Pappy will stop by and see this. I'll have fun either way. I just want to bring the right gear.

Yes we put in an RU Class a few years back because of the demand and just stops a lot of problems when folks show up with something that don't fit in the regular classes. So bring it on as long as it don't have sights most anything goes, same RU as the IBO. Pappy

Thanks guys, yes Clyde they call me the slave driver but one thing for sure I couldn't do this with out the bunch of great guys/gals we have in the Club that are very interested in making the place nice for us and all our friends. Like any other organization we have a few slackers but over all we all have the same vision,have as good of an Archery club as we can make it and have tried to keep that vision for all the years we have been doing this.[37 years now as TwinOaks] When that ceases to be the over all vision I will be done. Hope that don't happen anytime soon. Here is a picture of the new kitchen, all done but some trim work and a little tweaking here and there. Pappy

Also 30 feet added to the pavilion, waiting on trusses and tin that should be here this week. Pappy

I didn't get to make it last year. I don't know if I will recognize the place when I get there this year. :>)

Saw the new kitchen at the Spring Open and it looks great. A lot more room inside for the cooks!

Made it for my 1st time last year. Sorry that I can't make it this year. Wish it was a little closer. Pappy, improvements look great. Maybe I can make it next year. John, I shot 2 classes last year with no problems. Great shoot, and great experience all around! Great people to meet. Best 4 days I have spent in a long time.

Yep John it will be. We have put a gravel drive to it this year. We will have parking on the right and camping up on the left of the drive, all plans subject to change if we get a lot of rain, then we have to improvise. But of course you know it never rains at the Classic. LOL.It has rained for 3 days now and I am hoping it will get it out of it's system by the week of the Classic. Clyde tell Nancy we have her new outside sink ready for her,now she can wash her hands before she eats !!! Pappy
