Does anyone know any information about gene ellis I have one of his bows made in the 60 s in flint michigan gladiator bows made by ellis. I found information that he later went to work for bear archery and was thier factory or line manager. Any information would be great.

I new Gene Ellis from shooting tournaments with him, I went on here a couple years ago and ask about him no one new him, Gene was a very good shot, blonde haired fellow, I wish i could tell you more, dont know what happened to him. 6-GOLD

I was a neighbor of Gene’s and visited his shop many time. I believe he was at Bear first, then started his own company, Gladiator Bows. It was a garage business for many years, but I cannot say when he stopped as I moved away in 1970.
