I have owned multiple ASLs from most of the well known
bowyers. The Echo is in the very first rank in Hill style
longbows for craftsmanship and shooting qualities. This
Echo and the other one I have currently are fast, have near-
imperceptible hand shock, and are stable at the shot. They
are easy to shoot with repeatable accuracy. This bow has
bamboo limbs under dark brown glass. The limbs have a
small amount of stringfollow. The riser is laminated bamboo
