This a U Finish Longbow built by Mike of 7
Lakes Archery. The quality of this bow is
what you need to be concerned about. The
finish work was done by Mr. Sam Durham,
and myself. I did some work on the grip,
and put the leather on the grip. Sam
finished the bow in cherry stain and I
didn't like it so changed it to walnut.
The riser is hickory and is a very solid
bow and a great shooter. I would not want
to pass this off as a bow finished by Mike
and I'm sure Mike would not want that
either. The u finish bow was build by
Mike at 7 Lakes, however he had nothing to
do with the finish work. This bow is
solid. Blanks sell for 275. This bow is
in excellent shooting condition and has no
issues as far as performance is concerned.
The Carolina Night and the Silent Night
are the same bow and built from the same
forms as I was told by Mike Ballanger
himself. This is a fine bow, and is
structurally sound. I have made every
effort not to misrepresent this bow,
however would like to sell it. The price
is to your door. Bow is 40# and is 68" in
length.
