I have a hat hand made by Tim Bender of PA
for sale. He has since retired and is no
longer in the business. I have several of
his hats and am letting this one go since I
have two nearly identical styles.
This is made from quality fur felt which is
warm in the winter months. It has a 5.5"
tall center crease crown and 3.25" rolled
and bound brim. Wide vintage ribbon from
the 1930's finishes it off. Leather sweat
band and red silk lining. I wear a modern
size 7.5 hat and this fits well. I had him
make me this hat based off some examples
from early 1900's Appalachia. It is a
unique and very comfortable hat. $115 gets
