I believe this bow to be about as rare as hens teeth. Aspen Vector Takedown (hinge system) Longbow - Right Hand - 66" - 58# @ 28" - with bone (I think) tip overlays. I do not know the riser or limb woods, however the glass on the limbs is a little streaky.
At 65, I have not been at this game as long as many of the guys here, but this is the only Aspen bow I have seen configured like this. When I bought the bow it was in pretty rough shape so I took it down to bare wood/fiberglass and refinished the bow with Helmsman Spar Urethane, with no discoloration over the years. I was able to save all of the original writing. I also took off the old grip and rewrapped the riser. There looks to be a little flaking of the finish by the writing.
I would love to keep the bow but it is just too much weight for me anymore - so time to go. $450 with money order or $465 with PayPal. I know that is a lot of money for a used bow, but I really feel it may well be a collector's item at some point in time.
