Got my bows on some simple wooden dowels for now. Saw a picture on a different thread today of Rick Barbee's cool bow rack. Lets see some pics of some racks you guys have built, I need some inspiration.

Nice bow racks. I may have to build one. Right now I just use a wall with door stop screwed into it to hang my bows

Not fancy. You don't need anything detracting from the beautiful bows;-)

That was my thinking too, woodshavins. Just pegs in drywall anchors

Duckbill that is a very creative/artistic theme based rack! Love the clothespin peg concept. Hats off buddy :)

Bowjack, I have one of those Kodiak Deluxe bow cases also. don't see many of them around.

From: bowjack

Jon, yes there's a Kodiak Special Deluxe in that case. Had the bow before I got the case.

Nothing fancy here. I usually only hang bows I'm currently working on that aren't finished yet. The finished bows seem to find a place in my living room or hallway. This wouldn't have worked a few years ago when I was collecting but now my needs have shrunk.

This is mostly mahogany and poplar with ipe "hooks" in the ends. Multipurpose, too!

I just drew up some basic plans for a bow rack, it's almost exactly like bowjack's. Hopefully I'll be going to get the wood/pegs this weekend!

Oh and I turned your image around Ambleman...

Thanks, DEAc23. Good luck with your project. It's a good time of year for such an undertaking.
