From: longbowhunter

The time is kinda split up seal, paint, clear coat. I'll do the first seal dip and let it dry over night. Then the dip cap let that dry about 5 hours Then onto the crest I can have that done in about An hour or less, Then another clear dry over night again. The fletching is what takes the most time . after cutting my feathers to the size I need It will take me 3 solid hours fletching. Then the single accent inlays that's another Hour. Next is the burning of the feathers, 15-20 minutes Quick clean up of the feather edge and glue On the feather fronts!
So how long does it take me to do up A dozen shafts.......... I can have a dozen carbons done in about 8 Hours that's all day at the archery desk! Cedars are a different animal But I can have a set done in a weekend.

Ron I think I read everything but could not fine what kind of paint you are using. I cap with spray paint and sometime have problem with loosing fletching from the paint not bonding. I do the usual clean the shafts and sand paper cap area.
