I’ve had the pleasure of shooting with Jim for years, 3D, Indoor and outdoor target. Local and National level tournaments. Every time, no matter what I’ve always learned something from Jim. At 95 he is still designing limbs and shooting. A couple years ago he showed up with a set of limbs with 1/4” holes drilled through the recurve of the limb! I asked??? What the…… The lighter the limb tip the faster. If you narrow the limb to decrease weight you get stability issues. The strongest part of the limb is the middle….so lighten it there! He is a mechanical engineer genius! His latest limb design does not have holes but he claims the highest efficiency ever. He does sell a few, so if you want to be a tester, he can help. Amazing guy!
