I'm curious to see if anyone knows of a substitute for the CE Heritage arrows. I know that they quit making them a few years ago. One of my longbows shoots this shaft in the 150 spine like a dart. It is an easy shaft to use as I can get a 500+ gr arrow without using heavy inserts and any of my bows between 45- 55lbs seems to shoot them very well. I'm down to five of these arrows left. Is there any thing out there that will work the same? Thanks.

I’m going to try the Dark Timber shafts from Big Jim. The spines are different but I can work with that, the finish looks as good and probably better. I think they are made in Korea too.

I like the vintage shafts from black eagle. That’s what I switched to after my heritage stock ran out.

If I was to try either of those I think I would have to mess with 100gr inserts just to get near 500gr unless I went with 175-200gr point. With CE Heritage I can get over 500 with a 125-145gr point and I think the insert is only 15-20gr. Doesn't anyone make a carbon shaft in a 500-450 spine that weights at least 10gr per inch? I can get a 525gr arrow with a cheap China arrow off Ebay, Those are a little weaker spine and I would use them for 3D or stumping but I don't know if I will trust them for hunting. Hope this all makes sense. Thanks

Carbon Express Heritage 150 spine were .495 So any 500 spine arrows will tune to your liking. And with a .244 inside diameter that recommends a 5/16 point

Hey Dakota. Just curious what length arrow you shoot ? I have about a dozen ce heritage 150’s brand new. I used to shoot 45-50 lbs. myself but have dropped down to 35lbs. and am using 700’s. now.

Sir Coco, I shoot a 30 inch arrow. If your looking to get rid of those Heritage 150 I would be happy to purchase them from you. Just send me a private replay and we can talk. Thanks

The DT shafts are made by the exact same people as the CX hence the above average quality and durability. BigJim

I also have recently un out of heritage arrows, and switched to dark timbers. Sofar I like them. I'd rather give my money to Big Jim, than a big corporation
