Cool bow

It’s a PMA. When I saw a similar bow for sale on BW FB page I knew it was for me. I went to BW and ordered it. It’s actually 2 months early. Not that I am complaining. This is a special bow, a remembrance bow , each red stripe represents a friend who gave it all in Nam.

From: M60gunner

Yes Ron, I will bring it Sunday. The matching arrows won’t be ready yet. The matching quiver is going to take me awhile. I believe I will have to punch a billizen holes for the stiching. I will wear my BW tee shirt as well.

A little update. I have finally got to shoot outdoors. My way to analyze a bow is to “air it out” to at least 50 yards. I was surprised that I didn’t have to change my “sight picture “ from my carbon limbed ILF bows of the same weight. Of course the arrows that are flying the best, Beeman ICS hunters, aren’t made any more but I am working on that.

Sweat! Good luck and enjoy!

From: M60gunner
Date: 18-Apr-24

Jack W, I cut my arrows to 28.5-29” depending on the brand shafts and weight inserts. These Beemans are 29” long with 100 grain inserts and 125 grain points. My “point on” is not using the tip of arrow it’s where I concentrate my eyes.

From: treehermit
Date: 18-Apr-24

Nice bow! How long is it?

Very nice bow.

From: M60gunner
Date: 18-Apr-24

45#@28, 64”. BW hit the weight I asked for. Tillered split but I have shot it 3 under and I may do that more. I expected lots of noise and weird arrow flight but it didn’t happen. So, I think a slight nock point adjustment and I will be golden? We will see.

Now that my pain issues have lessen and my med appointments are rearranged it’s going to mean much more range time. More time to try new things.

From: MStyles
Date: 18-Apr-24

Nice dedication to your fallen brothers.

From: RonG
Date: 18-Apr-24

Thomas, super reason and thoughtful.

It's hell to get old and have all these pains from injuries. Hang in there brother and glad to see you get a BW.

From: Wudstix Professional Bowhunters Society - Associate Member

Hope you have many years with this bow.

From: Gary Savaloja
Date: 19-Apr-24

Hard to believe it’s the same bow from first pic to the last pic. But a beauty no matter which pic shown.
