O.K way too big - I'm no tech wizard - I give up.

Are you using your phone to post and resize? It seems like it's much more difficult that way...from what I have been told. It's simple on a computer.

Don’t feel bad, I can’t figure out that stuff either.

George, Many Thanks. All of the "MB - KB - etc. is foreign to me. My wife is well versed and I'll have to enlist her to help. I just cut my 3rd one to profile and will have made 3 in 3 months. Don't know what lit the fire but it feels good!

Thanks again George!

Once you get the bug to build selfbows you don’t want to stop. I live in northern Minnesota without a heated shop so I have no choice but to wait until spring. Which is ok my staves can use the extra drying time.

I started in '99. First attempt broke cleanly in half! I was lucky to have an experienced bowyer who spent a week with John Strunk show me the ropes and eventually got the hang of it. At 68 with close to 90 I'm likely not seeing many more in the future but my number 3 in 3 months is about a week from done. I'll post a photo when I finish it.

Hats off to all you selfbow builders. Patience is not my strong point so I'll not try.

After using the resizing app and delete your original size. By swiping up, if you're using phone to see what your pixels are, should be no problem. When you go to add a photo, make sure you go to resized photos unless you deleted your original photo from your library. This may help. JF
