For the past 15 years the S.T.A.R. shoot, or Sherwood Traditional Archery Rendezvous has been held at Sherwood Archers in Roanoke, Va. We get a good turn out of archers from Va., Pa., W.Va., NC, etc. I know a lot of you guys have been to our shoot in the past. We strive to put on a good shoot for all of our shooters and make sure everyone has fun. Recently the Professional Bowhunters Society reached out to me to see if we were interested in hosting a P.B.S. Odd Year Gathering at the same time. Sounds like a good idea for both organizations so we are going to go forward with trying to make it happen. The shoot is scheduled for June 5 & 6, 2021 so you guys can put it on your calendars.

This is a great shoot and run by some of the nicest people you will ever meet .Sherwood works hard to make this a quality shoot in every way and is my one must go to shoot every year. Please come out and support this shoot as it is the best run all traditional shoot in the East. I know I am going and bringing a lot of bows to sell and trade during the day . Randy I hope you can get things going with PBS that would be a nice addition to things. See you this weekend for the club shoot.

I also will be there for this shoot, haven't missed one since it started. Great set ups and great people. If you don't shoot enough its your won fault with three courses to try. Bring boots for the 3d though-a might steep in places.Come out and enjoy fine hospitality.Also will have a few bows to sell/trade.

We have enjoyed this shoot in the past but have a family obligation this year. Every bit worth the drive from our Indiana home. Definitely an enjoyable course and group of people.

Fadi Bahouth will be giving a seminar at the shoot on locating wounded game with a tracking dog. Ethan Rodrigue and Dalton Lewis from the Stickboys will also be giving a seminar on filming your bow hunt. Both will be very informational and enjoyable.

the two times I went -the course was about the best I ever shot (so realistic)
only negative was it was so darn HOT when I was there like 100º with humidity 90% kinda thing Definately a great shoot

30 target adventure course advertised in the flyer is a masterful understatement Randy, everytime I go on C range it is a adventure . I am going to the classified's here and list a few bows I am selling there as I will not ship them anymore. See you there for sure.

Our kitchen will be serving Bratwursts this year for lunch both days.
Saturday at 1:00 Fadi Bahouth will be giving his tracking dog presentation and at 3:00 Ethan Rodrigue and Dalton Lewis from the Stickboys will be giving a presentation on filming your hunts.
We will draw the P.B.S. bucket raffles Saturday afternoon so the guys can take their winnings home.
We are also raffling off a Camo riser Bear takedown that we will draw for on Sunday afternoon.
