Well folks - July 2021 I return to the stage for a huge show - the first one since February 2021! I sat home for nearly a year a half once Covid hit and wiped my schedule clear.

I enjoyed time off the road and with my family. I also found time to start a nee gig that will continue after the shows resume. I am a real estate sales agent in Texas and am helping my clients find ranches and property. It’s a fun gig and I have a great team. I already had the wardrobe so I took a 180 hour course, passed the state and national tests and a few weeks ago began my new adventure. I love it. Both the exhibitions and beings real estate sales agent are flexible time wise and that the coolest part.

More details on the archery show coming up!

I occasionally fly in a sport coat but thankfully I only wear one once in awhile... ha

Can’t beat real estate. My wife is a broker and I own rentals. Good luck

Not yet- just Texas this far. This was the first show since Feb 2020.

In 36 years of shows, I’d never seen an entire year cancel. May take awhile to come back. Some show promoters furloughed their entire staffs. It’s been tough on this industry.

Thanks Felllas. 2020 was a tough year business wise but lots of great family time. Many people lost loved ones to the virus so I consider myself lucky. Money isn’t the most important thing for sure.

Frank, have fun on the stage and enjoy your real estate endeavor. We are in the house and property that my wife came across when she was working real estate.

Don't miss the aspirins for being away from them for so long.

Two Feathers I haven’t had a show bow together since Feb 2020... except for the special attune bow Hoyt made for me to use for Campaign events. Even those were canceled and I did speeches virtually. So yes it will be nice to have a good bow in my hand again.

FDP will be with me for this show, I’ll let him decide if I’m rusty or not... haha

Thanks gentlemen. God is good, I love my exhibition career but I accepted the fact that Covid changed it for awhile.

I have had both Pfizer shots and will be glad to be on stage again ! The meet and greets may be different for awhile but at least some of the shows are taking off again.

I've always looked for the "By Owner" signs myself, but best of luck to you Frank.

Most houses are not sold by the owner being the agent. There is a reason for that.

From: JusPassin
Date: 12-Apr-21

I've done 7, and only problem I've had was when a buyer had their own "agent" who thought I should give them a cut. Ha.

Hope y’all have a great week.

Best, Frank

PS For old times sake : Yes instinctive shooting is real

And Target Panic is 100% mental and must be dealt with there... buying products or trying to physically shoot to get over it is only a temporary fix. It crepes back up unless dealt with at the source - mentally. I’ve always said this.

Haha That should give folks something to talk about.

Why is it the only time I get target panic is when I have a target with steam coming out of it's nose?

From: babysaph Professional Bowhunters Society - Qualified Member

I am glad you had good luck Juspassin. But I stand by my comment that most are not sold like you did.

From: babysaph Professional Bowhunters Society - Qualified Member

And I agree Frank. It is mental. and I have never known of anyone that beat it. I am sure some do but I have never seen any.

Sir you need to get out more, Target panic can and has been beaten many times, I have done it but took several months and I got it by tuning bows in my archery shop and not releasing properly and snap shooting, Have a safe day.

I get out plenty and shoot with guys that have it and have had it for years. I’m just stating what my experience has been. Like I say. It can be beat I am sure

Frank I'm in the mood for Fajitas. :)

I wonder if our ol' buddy Joe Martin will be there this year?

Come on man! What's the real truth. Finding and selling ranch's. Spots to hunt or fish I gather.

Yup Gods been good to you but it wouldn't have anything to do with Stacey looking down and helping protecting and guiding you in right direction would it? LOL

I imagine you meet some incredible people as well as some that need the Lord in this new adventure.

All goes well in the Kingdom.

Frank hope you can make it to Florida. Looking forward to seeing you and I haven't forgotten about the dinner I promised you.

Good luck.................Rocky

Frank, Now I see how you hit that aspirin, you shoot five arrows at it all at once, one of them is about to hit it.

Just couldn't resist, best to you Frank.

I love It. Even old Nolz Chimed in. Now my mission is complete. Any time I can get any of those ole Pirates going it makes me smile. Just like the old days. Hope you are doing well Nolz.

Some random comments from the above threads -

Yea, Stacy is up there. Sometimes he probably smiles and once in awhile he’d probably like to lecture me. And I always let him. I miss him terribly. Ryman I always enjoy your posts.

Babysaph Here’s the thing about target panic. If it comes Back it’s not beat right? The only way in my humble Opinion to beat it is to go to the source and deal with it there. The late Al Henderson knew it. His book, “The mental approach” is a treasure. I highly suggest reading it. Any thing other than the mental approach and a target panic comes roaring back. That’s my two cents anyway. Hope you are doing well Babysaph.

Yes I am watching for a ranch to hang my hat on for my family and I to bow hunt. One of my friends that ran the wildlife division of King ranch will probably help advise me on the way to manage it for game. They have it down to a science here.

FDP- YES to fajitas. And yes to that Chocolate taco at Republic of the Rio Grande. The border town of McAllen is a nice spot. Looking forward to it.

Rocky Yes my fine friend. I want to eat one good authentic Italian meal in my life. Plus I always enjoy your company. Seldon Slider is here in Texas and I hope to see him while he’s in the great state of Tx. The shows aren’t like they used to be. That one year I did 15 different Cabelas and all my other shows. After bass pro purchased Cabelas that was it for those appearances. It’s all changed. I still was doing about 30 weekends a year but now I’ll try and book 10-12 per year or less. I don’t enjoy the travel as much anymore. It’s brutal these days.

Best to you all.

Frank
