Dana Chatoo my best friend of over 40 years had a Stroke Tue and has been in a coma since.
He's well respected on the Longbow scene IBO world champ, IFAA Longbow Field shooter with US National titles and records. Great coach who has helped many Archers find their true shooting potential (me being one of those people)
Please keep Dana and his family in your thoughts during this difficult time.

Lord please be with Dana and restore his health when he wakes up. Be with his family and friends as they worry and pray and think about him. Lord you know the days we all have left. Help us to remember that and act accordingly as how you would have us act.
Lord please restore Dana back to health and help him overcome this health issue.Please help the doctors to figure this out and we know you have him in the palm of your hand.

We will pray for him and family. He was the first Archer I talked to at my first TBOF event in 1994. We were talking about the art teacher at Helens school last night and then that lead to us talking about Dana...who is an art teacher.

They have moved him out of ICU to CPU and he is opening his eyes but his is not conscious.
It's good that he's out of immediate danger but it will take a while to figure how much damage has been done and even longer on the road to recovery.

Dana isn't speaking but when his wife handed his glasses today he took them and put them on, the first small sign of cognitive awareness and that he's trying to come back to us all.
