Made a swap for this Wes Martin Mosshorn. I know the bows are not much to look at, but they shoot really well. Had a few back in the day and wanted one for rabbit hunting this winter. been shooting old curves and got the LB itch. This one shoots good. I winged all kinds of arrows to see which ones worked best to start tuning in with. Not sure what the specs are? it's 60" only writing on it is Wes Martin Mosshorn 4-12-03.Swapped a handmade knife by me for it and got e a Mosshorn LOL<><

They are nice bows.

I had Wes make me one back in December 2003. 65# 58" osage limbs with a cocobolo riser. Foolishly traded it for a 68" 65# longbow from a Leatherwall member. Shouldn't have traded.

Wes is a good 'kid'... he will be happy to hear that you appreciate his bow.

They look fine to me and thet shoot great. Maybe the "spiffy" crowd has to have artwork to shoot but not me. I love Wes's bows.

Bob I do, I always liked the mosshorn. This is very quick bow. I;ll sand it up a little and refinish. I was happy and surprised some had one they didn't want. In around 40#. Yes George I agree, still feel bad ya didn't find that Otter bow. <><

I remember when he was first making them, they have a reputation as being great shooters with that handle forward short longbow shrew-like design.Seems like alot of guys modify the grips to their taste. They are shooters for sure.

Amazes me some of these great shooters not being produced at all. Always looked like a functional stick that shot really well

Frank, glad you got the bow and enjoying it. I was going to give it to a past client that had multiple amputations from being aa brittle diabetic and a TBI, he was shooting an x-bow and got him shooting this bow real well, ended up back in the hospital for a transplant and didn't make it out. Good shooting and hunting.

Oh yeah liking it a lot. I may attempt to touch it yo a bit lol. They may not be finished like high end bows but shoots every bit as good as other short LB I had IMO.<><
