Today's shot will be a walk-back series... 15, 20, 25 yards.

God Bless,

CD

Thanks CD! As stated 15, 20 and 25 yards. My 15 hit the tape, 20 was just low and 25 was to the left. Made them with my BW PSAX 51@28 shooting Beman ICS 340's with 275grs up front. Good and safe shooting First Shooters!!

Good morning CD, thanks for the call.

It's the curved stripes today. Shot the 56# & 2413/165s 1st first (on right) and the 49# with 2213/125s last. These two are ready to hunt!

Have a great day and week-end. Stay safe.

Good morning friends and thank you for the call CD.

I'm still struggling with this new Harvey Archery Goshawk. 56"56#. I have it quieter than any of my bows, and shooting darts, but consistency and accuracy are elusive. It has a flat shelf so I think I'll build a bump next. Decent group but I was aiming at the push pin. And yeah, I'm sure it's mostly a form thing I need to find.

Be well.

It would be the bump for me, Paul. All my bows have elevated rests, except the '66 Hi-Speed and I'm changing that today.

Good early afternoon all- thanks the call CD! Got this in before the sky opens up here. Took the shots as called with a Proline Monarch 62” 52# (orange fletched arrows) and Stemmler Turk 60” 50# (green fletched arrows). With both sets I was better closer and had a better result and grouping with the Stemmler most likely because I shot it second but overall not a bad result for me.

Thanks for the call CD. I tried 3 different kill shots today with my 56”-50# Grizzly and POC arrows. The 15yd was right where I wanted it but I missed just left with the 20yd shot, and wide right with the 25yd arrow. Good shooting fellas; have a good rest of your Friday’s and stay safe. Lance

Shot two new Stalker Stickbows Apex ILF rigs today. These are my literal first sots with these bows after some initial tuning completed yesterday.

The first one is the 19" riser with a set of South's longbow limbs (longs), making a 64" bow, set to 45# @ 27". The arrows are a bit heavy, and the drop from 20 yards to 25 is substantial.

The second is a 17" riser with the very first set (serial number 001) of Centaur longbow ILF limbs (longs), making a 62" bow, set to 60# @ 27". Still have some tuning to do on this one but this setup is my favorite of the three new Apex rigs, so far. I like them all, but this one is the most quiet and, ironically, the only one with no string silencers yet.

Thanks for the call, CD!

Safe and healthy wishes, First Shooters.
