Just wondering (maybe to much time on my hands with this Covid19 thing). I remember having them and they being available back in late 60's and up to maybe mid 70's. You could get them up to about 65# spine if I remember right. I really did like them even though not much different from the 11/32's.
Anyone else remember and liked them?

Seems to me that Stotler Archery used to sell them back when the family had the company.

Are you talking about the 23/64? Wapiti still makes them if you are? 45-75# POC.

In 1981 some friends and I pooled together and bought several 1000 23/64 poc shafts. They came in boxes of 500. I ended up with one box. I think I paid around $80 total. My how things have changed. I think they were Acme brand.

I believe 23/64 is still available in heavier spines... Rose City has them and also offered by The Footed Shaft, probably from other retailers also

I have some and am shooting them right now. They're tapered and spine 55-60#. Unless one has a micrometer, very difficult to tell them from 11/32s.

Or until you try to taper one with an 11/32 taper tool.

If you use a grinder set up/attachment the diameter of the shaft is a non-issue. The only small problem with them is that you can't get 21/64" nocks any more. Stotler had one of the last supplies of those.

Surewood was (last year?) talking about running some 21/64" shafts. It would be interesting to play with. Also some 3/8" shafts for the gorillas shooting bows that might need such.
I taper 23/64" down to 5/16" over the last 10". Keeps me busy in February.

Tail Tapered 11/32” tune beautifully in my bows. Never could get 21/64” to fly as good.

I use to shoot that size in the late 60’s and early 70’s that I got from a local sporting goods store, mine were spined 45lbs and killed a bunch of small game but looking back I think they were kind of fragile.
