Actually, it's a Leatherman Original from the 1990's that I've field dressed alot of deer with. That said, I have one that Knifeguy made for me a few years ago that is my #1 hunting knife now. It's a custom made version of the Shrade Sharpfinger.

My bowhunting knife, file, stone, ferro rod combo. I didn't make the blade a friend of mine did. I only put the antler handles on the knife, file, and ferro rod.

The Leatherman is one handy tool George. That is the nicest Sharp finger I ever saw. Lance always does nice work. He knows a lot of history on knives too. Thanks for sharing that George.

Nothing custom made, but I carry a old Sharp Finger and a Smith & Wesson folder that I find myself reaching for most often. Lots of Sharp finger pics, but I haven't seen many of these, but then I don't attend knife shows.

No pictures but my go to hunting knife since about 1978 or 79 has been a rosewood handle buck 112. Its the perfect length blade for me to poke a starter hole at the base of the ribs put the blade in with my forefinger on the tip to prevent cut something i shouldn't. Works just like a zipper.

This one was made by a young man in NC out of 01 tool steel and I don't have his name but I bought it from him at a BBTC several years ago. It's a nice size knife to carry though and very sharp.

There’s no such thing as a perfect Knife to take bowhunting, but if I did, I’d take this knife. This blade shape is the best I’ve used for all around you name it, cutting, slicing, etc.

I just bought this Dozier for my EDC and am looking forward to getting it to the woods. Right now it’s just cut tape and string. I’ve liked this particular design for years and when they decided to produce them with the Sambar stag I knew I had to get one. Some really nice knife examples in this post. Lance

It's hard to beat the Buck Vanguard that my dad bought for me when I was a teenager. I bet I've gutted and skinned well over 50 deer with it.
Here lately I've become a fan of the Gerber Gator knives. I've added a couple more since this picture was taken. I keep them stashed in each vehicle, UTV, on my bicycle, at work, and one in my pocket at all times.
